VentusVentures has built up a portfolio of existing German wind farms with a nominal capacity of 39 MW. These wind parks are in various regions and have proven their performance through yield data.

All the wind farms are in Germany and remunerated according to the Renewable Energy Resources Act (EEG). The project companies are 100% held by the ownership of Beteiligungs-GmbH & Co. KG. Continuous cost and performance benchmarking secures the returns.

The portfolio-based approach, which consists of various wind farms, lowers the risk through different wind turbine technology from well-known manufacturers and locations. At the same time, this creates an investment size that allows innovative forms of financing.

In addition to traditional external financing through bank loans, the portfolio is refinanced by providing mezzanine capital on the net cash flow over the EEG funding period.
