Hamburg – VentusVentures commissioned a new wind turbine in Brandenburg last Tuesday (25.09.2018). The prototype turbine SWT-3.6-130 of the manufacturer Siemens produced the first kilowatt hours of electricity earlier than planned.

The wind turbine at a hub height of 165 meters was erected near Cottbus. With commissioning, the last of a total of three Siemens wind turbines in the wind park went into operation. One year ago, the first wind turbine of the type SWT-3.14-142 was completed at the location, followed by the the SWT 3.2-113 in December 2017.

VentusVentures has managed the entire project management in this project. These included the implementation of the approval procedure and the construction of the infrastructure. In addition, the financing agreements were structured with the banks and the contract with the equipment manufacturer were concluded. With the commissioning, VentusVentures will also be responsible for the commercial operation of the wind park.
